چکیده

Being an energy source of another origin, the compression ignition (CI) engine’s typical design parameters might not suit Simarouba oil methyl ester (SuOME). Present experimental investigation targets are determining effects engine parameters, including fuel injection pressure and nozzle geometry, on engine, concerning performance emissions such as carbon monoxide (CO), unburnt hydrocarbon (HC), oxides nitrogen (NOx), smoke opacity, with SuOME fuel. Comparisons brake thermal efficiency (BTE) different from tailpipe were performed for pressures a number injector holes diameter orifices opened in to find optimum combination run SuOME. It was observed that combined effect increase 240 bar 205 bar, increasing three six reduced hole diameters 0.2 0.3 mm, recorded higher emission levels mode operation compared baseline standard For (IP) SuOME, BTE increased by 2.35% opacity 1.45%. six-hole injectors three-hole injectors, 3.19%, HC 9.5%, CO 14.7%. At IP, having mm diameter, 5%, 5.26%, 25.61%, 10%, while NOx marginally 0.27%. Hence, FI, FI suitable diesel fueled biodiesel.
